Tattoo Removal Information You Must Know

Tattoo removal is a process that is not enjoyable, inexpensive nor easy. If you want to get rid of unwanted tattoo, be prepared to experience horrible pain which may also involve scarring and infection problems.

Many tattoo removal techniques are really not that good especially those old-fashioned processes.

One example of an old fashioned tattoo removal method involves excision wherein the skin is surgically removed from the body and along with it the tattoo ink.

Sanding is another method of removing unwanted tattoo; here a device is rubbed against the skin to peel off the layer of the skin including the tattoo ink. This method is also referred to as dermabrasion and if a doctor conducts the process, it is a legitimate method.

Presently, there are only 2 tattoo removal methods which are safe, effective and are popularly used. These two methods are the rejuvi method and laser treatment. However, these treatments can be a bit costly depending on different factors involved.

Normally, the expense and the factors which affect the costing of tattoo removal using laser treatment or rejuvi are just the same. Here are the factors that determine the cost of tattoo removal using either of the two popular methods:

Age of tattoo

Older tattoos are not as always easier to take off than newer tattoos. Once the tattoo ink has moved deeper into the layers of the skin over the years, it means higher complexity in removing it and means higher costs.

The colors and the ink used

If you have a solid black ink tattoo or one with plenty of colors, then it means that you need more treatments for removing them and also more expensive.

The tattoo size

The over all size of your tattoo also is a determining factor and probably is the biggest factor when considering a tattoo removal process.

Payment terms

There are a lot of tattoo removal clinics offering discounts when you get multiple treatments instead of just getting a single removal. For instance, if you’d need 5 or more treatments for your tattoo to be completely removed, some doctors would give the fifth treatments for free if you pay for the first four in advance.

Tattoo removal prices are affected by different factors and variables so it is advisable to consult with a professional who does this kind of treatments.

Depending on the extent and size of your tattoo, you can prepare $500 to $3000 as well as almost a year of monthly treatments to completely remove your tattoo.

Pros and cons of tattoo removal

One main reason as to why people wanted to remove their tattoo is to erase something that they no longer want. Tattoos maybe removed or become unwanted as a requirement for a new job or to avoid awkward situations with a present partner when you have the name of your ex tattooed on your chest.

On the other hand, the most obvious con of tattoo removal is the pain and cost of the method or process. Rejuvi and laser treatments are the most commonly used treatments and they are also the most expensive and the painful ways of getting rid of unwanted tattoo.

What Triggers Skin Rashes?

If your skin does not look normal in appearance and texture, then you might be experiencing skin rashes right now. Symptoms of skin rashes include bumps, blotches, cracks, redness, blisters or swelling. Skin areas with rashes also experience itching and in some cases, fever.

A rash may be spread to the entire body by scratching. If medical attention is not sought on time, the problem can worsen.
There are so many causes for skin allergies.

Each trigger pertains to a certain condition of the skin or a particular type of disease.

If you experience skin rashes, it is recommended that you consult a dermatologist to determine what the problem is and what treatment is needed.

Different Causes of Skin Rashes

  • One form of a skin rash is contact dermatitis. This appears when one touches something that was previously contaminated or does not suit the body chemistry. Eczema is a skin problem often experienced by those with allergies and asthma. Sebhoric dermatitis causes flaky skin. If it happens in the scalp, it is called dandruff.
  • Skin rashes are very complex in nature. Each condition is connected with certain problems. Simple problems can be caused by allergies on certain detergents, foods, perfumes, soaps, plants, and more. Others are triggered by other diseases like chicken pox, measles, shingles, hand and foot disease, and others. If the medical condition is considered severe, then you may be advised to undergo skin biopsy to rule out diseases like cancer.
  • Even simple actions like contact to flowers and bites from insects can cause skin rashes. Some have allergic reactions with metallic substances like nickel and silver, a condition called contact dermatitis. All of these can cause your skin to breakout. If you experience breakout on the skin after contact with this elements stay away from them completely.

Treating Skin Rashes

Today, there are vaccinations available that can cure diseases that could cause rashes. However, prevention is still the best remedy. Maintaining good personal hygiene is effective in preventing certain diseases.

Once you are affected with skin rashes, find out what substance or medicines you have contacted before the break out, and avoid these items to prevent further problems.

As much as possible, go away with over-the-counter medications except those that can treat very basic skin problems. Ask professional advice and follow the required medication, as it is necessary to eliminate the root cause of the problem.

Cream or lotion applications are most commonly used to alleviate the problem of skin rashes. In severe cases, antibiotics could be prescribed by doctors.

To minimize the effect of the rashes, you might need to keep basic medicines and first-aid kit on your medicine cabinet. This is a simple way to prevent the rashes to become a bigger problem.

Skin rashes can make you feel uncomfortable especially if you keep on scratching your skin. You can also be too sensitive as many people would stare at your swollen, red skin.

This is the reason why you want to get rid of the rashes as soon as you can. Immediately apply the right ointment or first aid method and visit your doctor as soon as possible.

How To Maintain Basic Skin Care Routine?

Did you know that your skin ages fast because of the things that you do or fail to do? Find out the things that will keep your skin looking clearer, younger, fresher, radiant and glowing. It is very simple, you just start with proper care and you will see visible improvements.

The first step towards getting a clearer skin is to have a basic skin care regimen that you will keep religiously. Know your skin type whether it is normal, dry, oily or combination skin, then look for the product that will suit your skin type.

You don’t need to buy the most expensive ones, the technique is to buy a small pack so you can try each product until you find the right one for you.

The initial step in skin care is cleansing the face at least twice a day, start by getting enough amount of cleanser and massage onto your face using the ring finger and middle finger only making upward outward stokes avoiding the eye area. Cleanse for at least one minute, and then rinse it thoroughly. Never rub your face, rather pat dry only.

Next step is to exfoliate, this is not done daily rather only once for normal to dry skin and twice for combination to oily skin per week. The technique in choosing a good exfoliant is that you do not see with your naked eye the layer of dead skin being removed, if you do stop using the product it may be too harsh for you.

There are various preparations of exfoliant, choose the most friendly to your skin. After exfoliating, the product usually comes with a solution for replenishing your skin, apply this and let dry.

After exfoliation comes the toner, this is used to close the pores and bring back the moisture that is lost from cleansing and exfoliating. Using a toner can be done daily.

You are now ready to apply the moisturizer to bring extra hydration, some women make a mistake that if they have an oily skin they no longer need the moisturizer.

This is a wrong notion because the skin ages fast if not properly moisturized. The key again is to find the right product to suit your skin. Use your moisturizer twice daily.

Then the last one is the sun protection, this may come together with your moisturizer or foundation.

Use your sun protection in the morning whether you are going out of the house or not. The rule is to look for a higher SPF (Sun Protection Factor), because the higher the SPF the longer the protection for you.

Do these steps consistently and you will notice the change in your skin in about two weeks, provided however, that you are using the correct products for your skin type.
